Brief description of the objectives and actions::

The Project, which will take place mainly in the archaeological area of the Roman Forum with the support and participation of personnel from the Superintendence (Archaeological Park of the Colosseum), consists of workshops and practical activities related to the analysis and enhancement of archaeological
documentation related to the ancient world. The following "workshops" are planned:

a) Museology workshop, aimed at illustrating the concept of musealized cultural heritage (students will be provided with the basic tools to understand a museum and create commented videos and photos with their mobile devices, i.e., a first "communication" of their personal experience in the museum to the outside world);
b) Epigraphic workshop, aimed at providing practical instructions on how to effectively and non-invasively document an exhibited inscription (students will learn the techniques and importance of this fundamental form of communication in the ancient Greek and Roman world);
c) Medieval archaeology workshop, focusing on the analysis and graphic reproduction of post-antique architectural structures and objects;
d) Graphic documentation workshop of ancient structures, in which traditional survey methods will be accompanied by more modern ones such as self-produced digital photography, which could encourage students to capture more personal aspects of places and activities.
