Brief description of the objectives and actions:: 

The main objectives focus on the Musealisation and enhancement of the epigraphic, sculptural, and architectural elements of king Narseh's monument at Paikuli (end of the 3rd century CE). The project includes the creation of two exhibition halls (10x10 m.) at the Slemani Museum in Sulaimaniyah. Moreover, it aims to arouse the awareness of civil society towards the preservation of the Sasanian cultural heritage in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

Participating subjects (internal/external): 
Sulaimaniyah Directorate of Antiquities; Slemani Museum. The Project works in synergy with the Kurdish institutions responsible for cultural heritage safeguarding. Several local staff members are involved in the Project to achieve a broader interaction with Kurdish society and reach non-specialist audiences.
