Anatolian Linguistics and the Neo-Hittite World:An Introduction to Current Research - SEMINARI DI ANATOLISTICA – ITTITOLOGIA - Erasmus+ Mobility Lecture Series
Nell’ambito dei Seminari promossi dalla Cattedra di Anatolistica-Ittitologia, e grazie al programma Erasmus+ Mobility Lecture Series, si terrà un seminario intensivo di 8 ore dedicato alle lingue anatoliche e ad alcuni aspetti storici degli Stati Neo-Ittiti del I millennio a.C. Il seminario sarà tenuto dal dott. Zsolt Simon (Institut Universitari del Pròxim Orient Antic – Universitat de Barcelona). Gli incontri intendono offrire una panoramica aggiornata sulle più recenti scoperte e sui risultati della ricerca riguardanti la linguistica anatolica e la storia degli Stati Neo-Ittiti, con l’obiettivo di fornire agli studenti e ai partecipanti strumenti critici e conoscenze attuali su questo settore in continua evoluzione.
As part of the seminar series organised by the Chair of Anatolian Studies and supported by the Erasmus+ Mobility Lecture Series programme, an eight-hour intensive seminar will be offered focusing on the languages of Anatolia and selected aspects of the Neo-Hittite states of the first millennium BC. The seminar will be delivered by Dr Zsolt Simon (Institut Universitari del Pròxim Orient Antic – Universitat de Barcelona). The event aims to provide an up-to-date overview of recent discoveries and current research outcomes concerning the linguistic and historical developments of Anatolia and the Neo-Hittite states, offering participants advanced insights and critical tools for the study of this dynamic field.
